Levenhuk Skyline BASE 60T Telescope is a refractor for kids and beginner astronomy amateurs. The kit includes accessories that allow for detailed studying the Moon and terrestrial objects. You can observe the planets of the Solar System; some galaxies will also be visible. This telescope is simple to operate; it requires low maintenance and features quality optics. It is perfect for first astronomy observations. Levenhuk Skyline BASE 60T is a well-balanced telescope for studying outer space.
All of the lenses in the telescope are made of optical glass and are protected with anti-reflective coating. The optics deliver contrast, sharp, and clear images. The Moon is magnificent at the maximum magnification: you can even observe its craters with a diameter larger than 8km. An optical finderscope with a 5x magnification allows for quickly pointing to astronomy objects. A classic alt-azimuth mount is used for precise pointing. This mount allows the optical tube to move easily along the axes. Even a kid can operate this telescope.
The main optical accessories are already included in the kit. You can achieve the appropriate magnification for observations by changing eyepieces. A diagonal prism is essential for studying terrestrial objects as it corrects a distorted image (telescopes flip the image upside down).
An aluminum tripod is also included in the kit. It features legs with adjustable height that allow for installing the telescope even on a rough surface. An accessory tray is included in the kit.
