The Levenhuk Blitz 76 BASE telescope is a Newtonian reflector with a spherical primary mirror. This is an entry-level model, but it allows you to observe many objects of outer space and deep sky. You can study the Moon, earth-type planets, and binary stars as well as large globular and open clusters. Almost all objects of the Messier catalog are available for study but without a high degree of detail.
Its optics are made of glass with an anti-reflective coating. As a result, the image transmitted by the telescope is sharp and clear. You can observe with good clarity up to 152x magnification. Due to three eyepieces with a different focal length and a 2x Barlow lens in the kit, you can work with a large number of multiplicities.
With the fork azimuth mount, using the telescope is as easy as a spotting scope. To set the telescope on the selected object, it is enough just to rotate the optical tube in the desired direction – left, right, up, or down. The mount features a microscrew on the vertical axis, which allows you to set the telescope accurately and smoothly. The aluminum tripod with adjustable height features an accessory tray.
Features:
- Classical Newtonian reflector for deep sky observations
- Fork azimuth mount
- Microscrew on the vertical axis for more accurate setting
- High-quality optics and easy operation – ideal for a beginner
- All of the required accessories for an amateur astronomer are included
The kit includes:
- Telescope optical tube
- 4mm eyepiece
- 12.5mm eyepiece
- 20mm eyepiece
- 2x Barlow lens
- Finder 5x24
- Azimuth mount
- Aluminum tripod with an accessory tray
- User manual and lifetime warranty
