Levenhuk D320L PLUS Digital Microscope is equipped with a 3.1M video eyepiece, which is why it is suitable for not only visual observations but also for creating digital archives of observations as well as for holding seminars and lectures. This microscope is excellent for research in the field of medicine, biochemistry, and others. It will take its rightful place in a scientific laboratory or research institute. A digital camera makes this microscope practical for teaching college and university students.
The magnification range is 40–1600x. Achromatic objectives deliver a sharp and extremely detailed image without aberrations. At maximum magnification, with a 100x objective used, you can apply the oil immersion research method (a bottle with immersion oil is included in the kit). Two wide-angle eyepieces with a pointer allow for studying specimens with a complicated structure.
A stage is equipped with a mechanical scale, due to which you can place specimens quickly and precisely under an objective. Coarse and fine adjustment knobs are used for adjusting the optics sharpness in the best way. Under the stage, there is an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm. Underneath, LED illumination with adjustable brightness is located. Illumination is powered by AC supply or rechargeable batteries (included in the kit). A battery charge provides for 10-hours of continuous work.
The main feature of the microscope is its digital camera. It is installed in the optical tube instead of an eyepiece. An included USB cable is used for connecting the camera to a computer. The camera delivers an image in real time mode in a resolution up to 2048x1536 pixels. You can shoot photos or record videos. The camera is a great solution for recording the main steps of research, creating presentations or video lessons. The digital camera comes with an installation CD that contains the necessary software and drivers.
