Levenhuk D320L BASE digital microscope is designed for conducting laboratory research in the fields of medicine, biology, and biochemistry. It can be used for dermatological, urological, and other medical research. Specialists in clinics, hospitals, and research laboratories will appreciate the capabilities of this microscope. A microscope can also be used for holding seminars or teaching medical students in colleges and universities.
The microscope features a classic monocular head and a revolving nosepiece for four objectives. The kit includes a wide-angle eyepiece and achromatic objectives with different magnification. The head is 360° rotatable, that enables using the microscope for group observations. A microscope head features a 45° inclination angle that provides additional comfort during lengthy examination of the micro world.
A microscope magnification range is from 40x to 1000x. When a 100x objective is used, you can apply oil immersion. A bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit. Image sharpness is adjustable with the help of coaxial mechanism of coarse and fine focusing adjustment.
Specimens are placed on a stage with a mechanical scale. Underneath, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Halogen illumination is located below that and powered by an AC supply. The illumination brightness is adjustable. You can install light filters.
The main feature of the Levenhuk D320L BASE Microscope is its 3M digital camera. It allows for recording observations in image and video format. The camera is installed in an optical tube instead of an eyepiece and connected to a computer with an included USB cable in real-time mode. An image from the objective is transmitted to a computer screen in 2048x1536 resolution. The kit includes a software CD that allows for image and video processing.
