Description

Levenhuk Nelson 7x35 Marine Monocular is a great companion for fishermen and water trip fans. This lightweight and compact device will easily fit anywhere, even in a pocket. As a small-sized optical tool, it still provides a wide field of view of 130m at a 1000m distance with 7x magnification, which is sufficient for the detailed observation of remote objects. The minimum close focus of 3m is great for viewing a coastline.

This marine monocular has a compass and rangefinder. We recommend using the compass during the daytime as it has no illumination. The scales of the instruments are visible through the eyepiece of the monocular. To use the rangefinder, you need to know the size (height) of an object to calculate how far away it is located. The distance is calculated with a special formula based on the rangefinder readings or, vice versa, you can calculate the size of an object if you know the distance to it.

The arc scale in the compass is graduated in degrees. The division value is 1°. The compass shows the direction toward the object. North is 360°, South is 180°, East is 90°, and West is 270°.

All optical elements are made of quality BaK-4 glass. The lenses are fully multi-coated and so the image will remain bright and clear even in low light conditions.

You can customize the diopter adjustment by rotating the eyepiece. The water-resistant body of the monocular is made of durable plastic. The nitrogen filling prevents the inner surface of the lenses from fogging.

We recommend using this monocular with the Levenhuk FS10 Floating Strap near water: the bright accessory will prevent the optical tool from sinking or getting lost.
