Hello! 50l microscope was discontinued, right? What other model would you recommend for a kid? Levenhuk Customer Service:
You probably mean the Levenhuk 50L NG model that was recently discontinued indeed. Levenhuk Rainbow 50L Microscope is available for purchase at https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/microscopes/levenhuk-50l-amethyst/. This is a wonderful children's microscope.

Hello! We recently bought this kit. The manual says that the kit includes a glass slide with cavity for the hanging drop. We did't get anything even similar. Where can we buy it? Levenhuk Customer Service:
The manual says that such experiments are possible in general, it doesn't say that it comes in the kit. You can buy microscope slides with cavity separately. Unfortunately, we don't have such glasses in our product range.

So I need to place the cover slip with immersion oil on the slide with a sample and then low the objective lens? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, you are right. The immersion objective should be lowered until it touches a drop of oil previously placed on the cover slip.

Gerald (2014-11-03 10:30): Positive
Hi! I'd like to observe dust under the microscope... should I use immersion oil for this? If yes, then where should I place a drop? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Immersion oil should be used with 100x objective lens. A drop of immersion oil should be placed on the cover slip and the objective has to be lowered until it touches the drop. Dust can be observed without this technique.

Hello! Tell me please why do I need yeast for brine shrimp breeding? How to use them? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Brine shrimp and yeast are two independent samples. Use them separately. To breed brine shrimp you need to add some salt water into the hatchery; and for yeast you need just water drops. These processes are described in detail in the "Attractive Microscope. Scrutinizing the Microcosm" User Guide that is included in the kit.
