How to fix sample inside the slide? I put a sample (thin slice) on a slide then cover it with a cover slip. But they do not stick together. And when I use oil cover slip sometimes gets glued to the objective lens because of the oil and comes off. Edges of the cover slip must be secured with wax, special resin or other substance to keep glasses together and make the sample impermeable.
