Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS is an advanced Newtonian telescope of the PLUS series. This amazing model will allow you to gaze far deeper into space than planets of the Solar System and their satellites, and see captivating star clusters, nebulae, binary stars and comets. Its 135-millimeter (5.3-inch) objective lens gathers so much light that you can easily delve into the deepest reaches of the universe. The optical design of this telescope provides bright, sharp views of celestial objects without any chromatic aberrations.

Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS Telescope is very easy to use. Its tube is set up on a German equatorial mount, complete with slow-motion controls. You have to align an equatorial mount before your observations, but it is far more useful than an altazimuth mount during observations of moving objects. It has special setting circles that allow you to point your telescope to a celestial object using its celestial coordinates. The mount itself is installed on a sturdy and reliable aluminum tripod. A red dot finder, attached to the tube of the telescope, acts as a laser pointer and significantly simplifies navigation through the starry sky, allowing you to find the desired object very quickly.

Levenhuk Strike PLUS Telescopes are made with high-quality optics. The series includes a refractor and two Newtonian telescopes. The Levenhuk optics used in these models are comparable to those used in professional telescopes. All the lenses and mirrors are made of fully multi-coated glass, which provides extremely sharp and saturated images of observed objects, something that Levenhuk telescopes are renowned for.

The advanced kit of this series includes everything you need to get the most from your telescope. The expansive kit of additional accessories includes books and software that will help you learn more about astronomy, extra eyepieces (including a zoom eyepiece), and a Zongo 40 Telescope Case. The telescope itself comes in a colorful box.

All this makes the Levenhuk Strike PLUS Telescope a wonderful present for any amateur astronomer who is fascinated by the mysteries of the cosmos.

You can find a review on Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS Telescope here.

The unique kit of Levenhuk Strike PLUS Telescope contains:

1. "See it all!" Astronomer's Handbook. This practical handbook was created specifically for beginning astronomers. It contains valuable information on over 280 celestial objects and the cosmos in general, as well as colorful star charts and facts on the design of different telescopes.

2. Stellarium. This is 3D planetarium software that allows you to plan your observations and explore the night sky several years in the future. The database contains over 600,000 stars, planets of the Solar System, the Moon, comets and asteroids, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. All this can be rendered in just a few moments and studied directly on your computer!

3. Space Posters Set (Moon, Sun and Other Stars, Solar System). These posters will help you explore the universe and learn interesting facts about the Solar system, its planets and satellites, and various distant stars. Colorful illustrations and captions present necessary information in an easy-to-read format. The posters are 84x60 cm (33x24 in).

4. Planisphere. This rotating star chart is a handy tool that allows you to find out what celestial objects and constellations are visible above the horizon at a given date and time. All you need to do is align the viewer and the star chart, providing a date and time.

5. Compass. Truly an invaluable tool that can help you orient yourself to the Northern pole on your observation site. Afterwards, it is easy to locate Polaris in the night sky, which provides a starting point for further observations.

6. 7.5-22 mm zoom eyepiece. This is a wonderful eyepiece that can completely replace several eyepieces. By adjusting its focal length, you can change the highest practical power without having to replace the eyepiece. It allows you to enjoy planetary observations and forget about additional calibrations.

7. Levenhuk Zongo 40 Telescope Case. This case is made of a sturdy waterproof material, and the padded lining protects the telescope from impact. The case is also fitted with handle straps for easy transportation.

The kit includes:

  • Levenhuk Strike PLUS Telescope on a German equatorial mount
  • Steel tripod
  • Steel focuser 1.25"
  • Eyepieces: KF 25, PL 10 mm
  • Zoom eyepiece 7.5-22 mm

Roger Smith (2014-10-25 11:17): Positive
I desire to sell this telescope (I have got some experience now) and order Levenhuk Ra 200N Dob... is it reasonable? Is there any difference in materials, any advantages comparing to this model? Or disadvantages? (except its size, dimensions and so on) Levenhuk Customer Service:
The main advantage of the Levenhuk Ra 200N Dob telescope is its aperture. The 200-mm telescope allows you to observe lots of small details and observed objects will be noticeably larger. Dobsonian mount is very easy to assemble, it is also stable and reliable.

Kenny Foster (2014-09-28 05:42): Positive
my apologies for incorrect word choice, I broke the tripod, not the mount. Levenhuk Customer Service:
We recommend you contact our Customer Service Department:

Focal length is specified in the product description with Barlow lens or not? If not, the focal length with the Barlow lens will be 1800mm? Levenhuk Customer Service:
The Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS telescope comes with removable 2x Barlow lens, Barlow lens is always used together with an eyepiece, so magnification can be calculated only if we know magnification of the eyepiece you are going to use.

Marc Herrera (2014-09-10 09:09): Positive
OK, thank you, but I just wanna buy a good barlow with a T-thread for astrophotography and visual observations of planets and nebulae... Levenhuk Customer Service:
Please take a look at the following telescope accessories: Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter -; Levenhuk Ra WA 82°, 4 mm Eyepiece -

Hello, please tell me, which barlow should I use to get this telescope to its highest practical power? 2, 2.5 or 3x? And what eyepiece it's better to use? Should I use barlow when observing planets and nebulae? Also do you have 3x barlow with a T-thread? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Unfortunately 3x Barlow lens with a T-thread is currently unavailable in our store. The standard kit of the Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS telescope includes 7.5-22mm zoom eyepiece and 2x Barlow lens, with these accessories you will be able to get the increase of 240x, while highest practical power (i.e. useful magnification without loss in quality) of this model is about 270x.

Steve (2014-08-15 10:36): Positive

Hi I need a telescope for detailed lunar (I want to see craters decently) and planetary (to be able to see belts and storms on jupiter) observations. up to $800. and what does 'lens telescope' mean? Are there any other kinds of telescopes? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Lens telescopes (refractors) are not the only type of telescopes. You can find some information on different types of telescopes here: Here you will find the information on what you can see with a telescope based on its aperture. According to your budget we recommend you to take a look at the Levenhuk Skyline PRO 127 MAK telescope:

Curtis Riggs (2013-12-29 06:43): Positive
Hi. Please suggest me what to choose: Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK, Levenhuk Skyline 130x900 EQ or this model. what else do I need to achieve the highest practical power? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Due to its flexibility Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK ( is a more preferable choice, to get the highest practical power you need an eyepiece with 7-mm focal length. But Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS Telescope is an optimal choice due to the kit, magnification and astrophotography capabilities. For this model the following eyepiece is suggested:

Samantha (2013-12-02 07:57): Positive
Is it possible to observe the planets? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS Telescope allows observing the planets. Only they will appear smaller than as seen through refractors of the same aperture.

Frank Arbuckle (2013-10-24 12:37): Positive
Hello! I wanna buy a telescope in your store for the Moon, Mars, Venus and other objects observations. I already own Powerseeker 60 AZ and I'm not all too happy with it, it's too difficult to point for me and the views I see through it are a bit blurred. I think I'm gonna try Newtonian reflecting telescope this time. Willing to spend no more than $350. Is Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS ok for me? thanks in advance! Levenhuk Customer Service:
Refractors are more suitable for planetary observations. Take a note of the Levenhuk Skyline 90x900 EQ Telescope:

Max Bremner (2013-10-23 12:56): Positive
1. Do the mirrors have any protective coating? 2. How do I attach an SLR? Levenhuk Customer Service:
1. Yes, the mirrors have a protective coating. 2. To attach an SLR camera you need a Barlow lens with T-adapter and a T-ring designed for your particular camera model.

David Witt (2013-10-23 08:23): Positive
Good day! I'm a beginner :-) I've purchased this telescope and I'm goin' to use it in the south hemisphere. Somethin' about 4 degrees of south latitude. How do I adjust an equatorial mount if I can't even see the polar star? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Adjusting the telescope is much more complicated in the southern hemisphere, because there is no bright star close to the South Pole. As a guide here can serve a faint star Sigma Octantis (a magnitude 5.46 star) about 1 degree away from the pole.

Jennifer (2013-10-21 10:11): Positive

Dear sir/madam I'm interested in Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS. Please provide me more information about the Red dot finder that comes with this telescope. Does it have variable light strength and does it have any magnification power?. Also could you please recommend which deep space, planet and solar filters could be used with this telescope. Thank you. Best regards, Alexander Levenhuk Customer Service:
Hello Alexander, thank you for your interest in Levenhuk products! The Red dot finder comes with a projected red dot without magnification power. All Levenhuk optical filters can be used with this telescope as they have a 1.25'' barrel diameter. The Levenhuk 127 mm Solar Filter will fit for observation of the Sun. Hi. I'm choosin' between this model and Bresser Galaxia 114/900. can you please tell me which one has more quality optics? Is Bresser put together in Germany? Or also in China under the quality control of manufacturer? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Strike 135 PLUS is a preferred choice because its aperture is bigger and therefore it's more powerful. As for the optics quality, these two brands are equal. Bresser is made in PRC using German equipment and from German parts under Bresser quality control.

Daniel Morrow (2013-03-16 12:01): Positive
And also make it clear pls, how does this model achieve a 372 times increase? It's printed on the box - 372x. Thanx! Levenhuk Customer Service:
This magnification may be achieved by using a 2.4 mm eyepiece (purchased separately). Take into account that under this magnification (372x) image quality is not satisfactory.
