Levenhuk Skyline 90x900 EQ is a refractor with a large aperture. You will be able to see planets, double stars, globular clusters and diffuse nebulae. Uranus and Neptune appear in the form of small disks, but closer planets will be visible in more detail. For example, you will be able to distinguish Mars’ polar caps, the structure of sunspots and granulation on the Sun. Also, the telescope is good for lunar exploration if you want to see the craters. Under good conditions, all the Messier objects and bright NGC can be observed. The model is suitable for astrophotography.
- The telescope has a factory default adjustment and does not require additional and frequent adjustment;
- Contrast and sharp images in high resolution without chromatic aberration;
- Highly detailed pictures even at large aperture;
- Can be used for photographing the Moon and planets;
- Suitable for both terrestrial and astronomical observations;
- Ideal for planetary observations and observations of binary stars;
- Suitable for beginners.
The kit includes:
- Telescope optical tube (optical elements inside)
- SUPER 25 and SUPER 10 eyepieces
- Equatorial mount EQ2
- Aluminum tripod
- Diagonal mirror
- User manual and lifetime warranty
The equatorial mount, as opposed to an azimuth one, when being hovered compensates for the rotation of the Earth and allows a more precise tracking of astronomical objects, keeping them within sight through the eyepiece. This mount is perfect for astronomical observations and indispensable for astrophotography. The aluminum tripod has adjustable height.
Two achromatic eyepieces SUPER 10 and SUPER 25 with a 1.25-inch (31.75-millimeter) diameter are included in the package, and serve as powerful image correction tools. The optics used in the eyepiece are glass with a special coating. Field of view is 50-52 degrees.
Please note that the Levenhuk Skyline EQ user manual is also available in Spanish.

own this scope, thinking about buying a barlow. So if I use 2x barlow with 5mm lens, will I get 360x? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Skyline 90х900 EQ Telescope has a highest practical power of 180x. Exceeding this magnification leads to distortions. 5mm eyepiece alone is what you should use to get the telescope to its highest practical power, the use of Barlow lens is not necessary.
Can I use this telescope in winter? What is the lowest operating temperature? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Operating temperature range: -31/+104°F.
What features should I consider when choosing between this model and Skyline PRO 90 MAK? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Skyline PRO MAK 90 is a better choice due to a larger focal length. Catadioptric telescopes also provide better image quality thanks to reduced chromatic aberrations.
Hi! What would you suggest for getting more quality views during planetary observations? Barlow 2x (https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-barlow-lens2x/) with 10-millimeter eyepiece from the kit or just one 5-millimeter eyepiece (https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-ra-ler-5mm-eyepiece/) Levenhuk Customer Service:

I've read about "connecting to your computer for control and display of images." does this model connect to a computer, if yes, how does this work? As a beginner, how will I know where to start looking? I read about a telescope that points itself at desired objects. Do any of the Levenhuk telescopes do that? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Hi Ray, Thanks for the question. The Levenhuk Skyline 90x900 EQ Telescope does not allow connecting to a computer. You will need to track astronomical objects using their coordinates and adjusting the equatorial mount accordingly. If you want a telescope that points itself at desired objects, I'd recommend to check out the Levenhuk SkyMatic 105 GT MAK Telescope which you may find here at https://www.levenhuk.com/products/levenhuk_skymatic_105gt_mak/ This is a Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with GoTo function which is capable of capturing one of 42,900 celestial objects stored in its memory with incredible accuracy.

Please clarify the following: 1. Why is Levenhuk Skyline 90x900 EQ is better for lunar and planetary observations than Levenhuk Skyline 130x900 EQ? I mean I can't believe that the latter model provides images of poorer quality while observing planets. It has much greater aperture! 2. Which telescope provides images of higher quality: Levenhuk Skyline 90x900 EQ, Levenhuk Strike 950 PRO or Levenhuk Skylie PRO 90 MAK? 3. Is Levenhuk Strike 950 PRO appropriate for terrestrial observations? If so, what additional accessories should I have? The images are upright or inverted? (for terrestrial objects, planets) Levenhuk Customer Service:
1. Due to their optical design. refractors are much more suitable for planetary observations. You can find Levenhuk refractors here: https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/telescopes-design-refractor-items/ 2. Image quality and flexibility of use make the Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK an optimal choice. 3. You can use this telescope for terrestrial observations, but to see erect images you are going to need this accessory: https://www.levenhuk.com/products/45degree_erect_prisma_levenhuk_7517/
