Levenhuk MED D20T Digital Microscope features the semi-plan achromatic optics, practical Köhler Illumination, powerful halogen light with brightness adjustment, and ability to record observations in a photo or video mode. The microscope is equipped with a 5.1MP digital camera; it is perfect for professional work with specimens, convenient to set up and use. Levenhuk MED D20T is an excellent choice for holding seminars and presentations, teaching students in universities, research work in scientific centers, and diagnostics in medical laboratories.
A trinocular head with a beam splitter and digital capabilities
The microscope uses a classic trinocular head. It is divided into a visual part inclined at 30° and a separate vertical tube, in which a digital camera is installed (included). There is a beam splitter. A camera with a 5.1MP sensor allows for recording videos and taking pictures. It can be connected with an external device via an included USB cable to transmit an image observed through an objective lens to a connected screen in a real-time mode. The camera makes working in a laboratory easier: there is no need to strain your eyes when observing slides through eyepieces. The software on a CD allows for adjusting the size, image brightness and contrast, exposure time and white balance, calibrating a camera and objective lenses as well as measuring specimens or structures (several measurement units are available).
High-class semi-plan achromatic optics
The optical scheme of the microscope consists of wide-field eyepieces with diopter adjustment and semi-plan achromatic objective lenses of various magnifications. Overall optics magnification varies of 40x to 1000x. All of the optical surfaces of eyepieces and objective lenses are protected with a special anti-fungal coating. 40x and 100x objective lenses have spring-loaded frames that protect the optics from accidental damage. A 100x objective can be used for observations using oil immersion (a vial of immersion oil is included in the kit). Sharpness is adjusted with coarse and fine focusing and has a small pitch of adjustment.
Convenient work with microscope slides
The mechanical scale is installed on the stage. The mechanical scale allows for placing specimens under the objective lens precisely. The illumination system is located under the stage. It consists of an Abbe condenser, an iris diaphragm, a filter holder, and 20W halogen light source. The light brightness is adjustable. It is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most European countries.
