Description

The Levenhuk MED 35T Trinocular Microscope is a professional optical instrument for conducting micro-observations using the bright field method, with and without oil immersion; using transmitted light or Köhler illumination is available. The microscope is perfect for detailed studying of small structures and can be used for microbiological, biochemical, and clinical diagnostic studies of different levels of complexity.

Plan achromatic infinity-corrected optics

The microscopes in the Levenhuk MED 35 series are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system that is used in professional and high-class microscopes. This system includes Infinity PlanAchromat objectives and allows for obtaining clear, high contrast images with high level of flatness.

One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows for installing any additional parts in the optical path between objective lenses and an ocular tube. The additional parts include polarizers and epi-fluorescence light. All in all, modular design and simple operation make Levenhuk MED 35 optimal microscopes for using in different kinds of microscopy and working in hematological, histological, microbiological, and other laboratories.

A rotatable head with a beam splitter

The trinocular head of the microscope consists of a visual part that is vertically inclined at 30°, and an ocular tube for installing a digital camera (not included in the kit). The head is rotatable around its axis, due to which it is convenient to conduct group research. There is a beam splitter.

Capabilities of the optical system

Five plan achromatic lenses of various magnification and 10x wide-field eyepieces are used for observations. The optics minimize chromatic aberrations, create a flat field of view, and allow for observing even tiny parts of specimens. The magnification range of the microscope is of 40x to 1000x. All of the optical elements are protected with an anti-fungal coating. The objective lenses with higher magnification have protective spring-loaded frames and the eyepieces allow for adjusting diopters individually for each customer. Moreover, the 100x objective lens allows for oil immersion. Coarse and fine focusing are used for sharpness adjustment.

Convenient work with microscope slides

The stage can be moved along two axes. Specimens are placed under an objective lens with the help of a mechanical scale. The light is located in the lower part of the microscope and consists of a 30W light. Light brightness is adjustable and powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:

Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most European countries.

Some things you can see under a microscope:

Levenhuk MED 35T Trinocular Microscope is also compatible with other Levenhuk digital cameras (additional cameras are purchased separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube instead of an eyepiece. This microscope is also compatible with any other digital microscope cameras.
