Help your kids get higher grades in biology and chemistry classes. Spark their interest in science with Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS Orange Microscope! The microscope comes with an excessive kit of additional accessories. It includes ready-to-use microscope slides and tools for making your own samples and for breeding crustaceans–along with many other useful things. It can be successfully used by a school child, student, or even a laboratory technician. Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS Orange Microscope has a beautiful colorful design and would be a nice gift for anyone interested in the microcosm!

High-quality optics
This microscope model comes with three objectives producing 64x, 160x, and 640x magnification. 40xs objective lens is equipped with a special spring-loaded mechanism, which protects the optics from mechanical damage. If you lower the objective too much and it touches the microscope slide, the spring-loaded lens will retract a little, preventing any possible damage. The kit also includes 2x Barlow lens, which doubles the magnification of any given objective lens. The basic configuration of the model allows you to obtain up to 1280x magnification power!

The optics are made of high-quality multi-coated optical glass - you will always get clear, sharp, and highly detailed images of observed objects.

Illumination for observing transparent and opaque objects
The microscope is equipped with two bright LED illumination sources. The lower illumination allows for observing transparent samples in transmitted light – for example, you can observe ciliates, or study the structure of indoor plants. Upper illumination is used for viewing opaque samples such as paper or cloth. If you turn both illumination systems on, you will also be able to observe semi-transparent objects. You can adjust the brightness level to achieve the best viewing results for a particular microscope sample.

Durable and convenient body
The durable metal body ensures the microscope’s long service life. It is suitable for individual use at home, as well as for intensive everyday use in schools, colleges, and laboratories. The monocular head is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees for the most comfortable viewing position. Moreover, the head rotates 360 degrees around its axis and can be successfully used for working in a group of people.

The microscope can be powered through an AC outlet, as well as run on standard AA batteries.

Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220-240V in most European countries.

Conducting your own experiments
Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit allows beginning researchers to conduct many interesting experiments on their own. The kit includes ready-to-use microscope samples, a variety of tools for preparing microscope slides, and a very helpful user guide with all necessary information for inexperienced users.

Convenient case
The kit also includes a very convenient and durable plastic case. It securely protects the instrument from dust and mechanical damage during transportation and storage.
