The Discovery Pico Terra microscope enables you to carry out scientific experiments right at home, it also can help you to study biology at school or college. This is a perfect choice if you have never had a microscope before, as it is easy to use. You can observe many inhabitants of the microbial world with this microscope. Beginners will be absolutely satisfied with its capabilities. In addition, the kit includes the "Invisible World" knowledge book. It is a colorful textbook about the microbial world written in simple language.
The optical system includes a 10x wide-field eyepiece and the achromatic objectives with 4x, 10x, and 40x magnification. The 40x objective is equipped with a spring-loaded frame that protects the front lens. The microscope magnification range is from 40x to 400x. The monocular head can be rotated 360° horizontally. This makes work with the microscope more convenient. It can also be tilted 30°.
The lighting system consists of upper and lower LEDs with adjustable brightness. The backlight can be powered by AC power or standard batteries. The microscope features fine focusing that allows for smooth sharpness adjustment. The stage is equipped with clips. The diaphragm disks are under the stage.
The "Invisible World" knowledge book is a great addition to the microscope, as it simply tells all about difficult things. With its help, it will be easier to understand how the microscope works, which objects of the microbial world should be paid special attention to, and how to carry out the first scientific experiments.
