The Discovery Micro Terra microscope allows you to obtain your first knowledge about the microworld. You can observe life in a drop of water, the cellular structure of plant and animal tissue, the features of the wings and limbs of insects, and much more with this microscope. It is perfect for novice users, as it is not difficult to handle. If you want to make microbiology your hobby, you will like the optical capabilities.

    Optical system

The microscope features a monocular head with a non-removable eyepiece. The head is inclined at 45° and, therefore, allows for observation with maximum comfort. The microscope is equipped with a 10x-16x sliding two-position eyepiece. The microscope revolving nosepiece is designed for three objectives (4x, 10x, and 40x). The microscope magnification range is from 40x to 640x. This magnification is quite enough for entry-level observations, and the coarse focusing knobs help you to get the clearest image.

    Adjusting LED illumination system

The illumination system is lower. It includes one LED light that directs a beam of light through the diaphragm disc directly toward the working area. The stage features two clips for fixing a specimen. You need to power the illumination. The ability to work without connection to an AC power supply is extremely convenient since you can take the microscope with you wherever you go. In addition, the instrument is very compact and lightweight.

    Book of microworld knowledge

The kit includes the "Invisible World" knowledge book. It is an educational guide that describes microscopes and what you can see with them. There are photographs, pictures, and descriptions of simple experiments that can be performed at home. The book is written in simple, easy-to-understand language.

    Features:

    • Magnification: 40-640x.
    • Adjusting lower LED illumination system
    • Outdoor use due to battery-powered illumination
