The Levenhuk Zoom Eyepiece is a varied focal-length eyepiece that can completely replace several eyepieces. You can easily locate an object for observation at a close focal distance and then study it in detail at maximum magnification. The twist-up rubber eyecup allows for comfortable observations with or without eyeglasses. All this makes this eyepiece a must-have for any keen astronomer.

The scale engraved on the shell allows you to easily set the desired focal length within the 7–21-mm range, and the view is guaranteed to be crystal-clear at any focal length. All the optical elements are made of glass.

The eyepiece has a T-thread under the eyecup (M38x0.75) allowing you to connect an SLR camera using a T-ring (not included in the kit). Note that to connect a T-ring you need to remove the rubber eyecup.

Hello! I own Sony Alpha 77 camera and Levenhuk Strike 1000 Pro telescope. I can attach the camera with a T-ring to the telescope, but I won't achieve the highest practical power of the instrument. Tell me... can I use such a combination: Sony A77 + M48 T-ring + Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 mm eyepiece + Levenhuk Strike 1000 Pro? Thank you in advance! Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 Eyepiece is used separately from the camera. You can either install the eyepiece or t-ring with camera.

I need your help... I have MEADE NG70-SM (alt-azimuth refractor). Do you have any eyepieces for observing the Sun that suits my telescope? Levenhuk Customer Service:
You don't need any specific eyepieces to observe the Sun, but solar filter is strongly required. Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not have solar filters suitable for your telescope.

Karl WILDER (2013-12-03 05:02): Positive
Hello! Would you mind telling me if Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 mm Eyepiece is so-called "wide-angle"?? If not... is it reasonable to buy wide angle (as far as I get it) Levenhuk Zoom 8-24 mm eyepiece for my Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK? Will the last one allow me to get 125-180x magnification? While keeping the image sharp? Thank you in advance! Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 mm Eyepiece indeed provides field of view of up to 30% less than the Levenhuk Zoom 8-24 mm eyepiece. To obtain the highest practical power while keeping the same image quality you will be needing an eyepiece with 7 mm focal length; with Levenhuk Zoom 8-24 mm eyepiece you will get 156x increase, that is quite enough for planetary observations.

Chris Ballow (2013-09-30 09:50): Positive
One more question from the space nerd: is Celestron X-Cel 2.3 mm, 1.25" suitable for my telescope? I've got no time to read "the alphabet", it's easier to type the question on the tablet. Thanks. Your info is the most intelligible! Levenhuk Customer Service:
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, this eyepiece doesn't fit. The highest practical power will be exceeded. Try Levenhuk Ra LER 5 mm Eyepiece: https://www.levenhuk.com/products/eyepiece-levenhuk-ra-ler-5/

Chris Ballow (2013-09-30 09:37): Positive
Is this 7-21 eyepiece suitable for my Levenhuk strike 80? What's the difference between the same eyepiece ( only 8-24)? Why the price is twice higher? And also how does 5x short-focal-length barlow lens work on my telescope? I observe planets, the moon, mars so on. Levenhuk Customer Service:
It is suitable for Levenhuk Strike 80 NG. The difference is the focal length. There are many factors affecting the price such as the date of procurement, rate of currency at the moment, etc.

Joe Butler (2013-08-28 03:43): Positive
So I have Celestron LCM 114, can I use this eyepiece together with Levenhuk 2x Barlow lens? (except for 7 mm value obv) Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, you can use Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 mm Eyepiece together with Levenhuk 2x Barlow lens.

Mr. Thomanson (2013-08-22 06:45): Positive
HI! I've got Сelestron PowerSeeker 80EQ. Is Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 mm 1.25"+2xBL enough for this telescope? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, such combination is quite enough.

Tom Sorenson (2013-08-15 09:59): Positive
Please tell me what image quality does the combination of this eyepiece and 3*BL Celestron NexStar 130 SLT provide? So by attaching on 7 mm I get the magnification of 280. what'll be the quality if this telescope claims 306? What focal length can I install after 7mm (what is the step?) Levenhuk Customer Service:
The highest practical power is calculated by formula D*2, where D is the objective lens diameter. It's 260x for Celestron NexStar 130 SLT. If you exceed this point the quality of the image will be reduced. Levenhuk Zoom 7-21 mm eyepiece has the following focal lengths: 7, 9, 11, 15, 21 mm.

Molly Eisenhauer (2013-08-06 12:31): Positive
Are filters suitable for this eyepiece? Levenhuk Customer Service:

No, they don't.

Karen Blaize (2013-05-31 11:25): Positive
What's the difference between this one and Levenhuk Zoom 8-24 mm 1.25", besides the extreme values? Levenhuk Customer Service:

Karen Blaize (2013-05-03 12:30): Positive
hi. I own Levenhuk Strike 80 NG, does this eyepiece provide images of higher quality than the one included in the kit? Levenhuk Customer Service:

Joe Butler (2013-04-29 09:20): Positive

Yes, it's possible in theory. The magnification is from 45x to 137x, with such magnification you get a bright and sharp image.
