Immersion oil should be used with 100x objective lens. A drop of immersion oil should be placed on the cover slip and the objective has to be lowered until it touches the drop. Dust can be observed without this technique.

Brine shrimp and yeast are two independent samples. Use them separately. To breed brine shrimp you need to add some salt water into the hatchery; and for yeast you need just water drops.
