Calvin Pike (2016-02-16 11:59): Positive

Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens is designed to be used with telescopes.

Javier Lehman (2016-02-13 03:15): Positive
Please tell me how many elements the lens contains? Is it coated? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens: 1. Optical design: achromatic (2 elements). 2. Optics coating: fully multi-coated.

Hello! Is this lens suitable for Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK? If not, then maybe some other? For example, Levenhuk ED-2x Barlow Lens? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk 2x Barlow with its 1.25" barrel diameter is suitable for use with the Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK telescope. Levenhuk ED-2x Barlow Lens is not suitable as it has 2" barrel diameter.

Angela (2016-01-02 05:10): Positive
What Barlow lenses are suitable for Levenhuk 2L NG? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens is designed for use with telescopes. Barlow lenses for microscopes are not sold separately, only as a part of some models, for example Levenhuk Rainbow 50L NG - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/microscopes/levenhuk-50l-ng-amethyst/.

Hi there! I own Levenhuk Skyline PRO 105 MAK. Do you mind telling me how to shake things up a bit? I mean I have standard SUPER 25 eyepiece and I purchased Plossl 7.5mm eyepiece and optical filters for observing the Moon and Mars. As a matter of fact, I use SUPER 25 more often as 7.5mm makes images larger but also a bit blurry. So I was wondering maybe throw a Barlow in there? Does 2x Barlow + 7.5mm eyepiece make any sense? What eyepieces can you recommend? I mean more advanced eyepieces, I would like to observe Saturn and Mars. Thanks Levenhuk Customer Service:
No, the use of such combination of accessories is not reasonable as you will exceed the highest practical power of your telescope model. What you need is 8mm eyepiece, it will give 163x magnification, which is enough to observe planets.

Vlad Levin (2015-09-30 11:06): Positive
Is it suitable for Sky-Watcher BK MAK90EQ1? Is It reasonable to use it? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens is suitable for your telescope. The use of a Barlow lens always affects image quality, that's why we would like to recommend using 7mm eyepiece instead.

Paul Myers (2015-09-29 08:11): Positive
Can I use this Barlow with Veber Pluto 4 mm 1.25 PLOSSL eyepiece? What other parameters aside from barrel diameter should one consider when choosing a Barlow lens? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens is suitable for use with your eyepiece. When choosing a Barlow lens, you should consider its barrel diameter (it can be 0.965, 1,25 or 2 inches), which should match barrel diameters of your eyepiece and telescope's focuser.

Dan Kook (2015-09-09 10:53): Positive
Hello, the scope is Sky-Watcher BK909EQ2, the kit includes 10mm and 25mm eyepieces. Which is a better option for planetary observations: 10mm eyepiece + 2x Barlow or just 5mm eyepiece (maybe this one https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-ra-ler-5mm-eyepiece/)? Levenhuk Customer Service:
5mm eyepiece is a preferred choice as it will produce images of higher quality in your case.

Marla Green (2015-09-08 07:08): Positive
Is this lens helpful for Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 mak? Will it decrease image quality significantly? I use 25mm and 10mm eyepieces. Levenhuk Customer Service:
You can use Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with the Levenhuk Skyline PRO 90 MAK telescope, but we would recommend purchasing 7.5mm eyepiece in order to achieve better image quality. Take a look at Levenhuk Plossl 7.5 mm Eyepiece - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-plossl-7-5mm-eyepiece/

Bert King (2015-09-07 11:54): Positive
I have the Levenhuk 20-60-80 spotting scope. Can I use this lens with it? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Unfortunately, Levenhuk 2x Barlow lens is not suitable for use with the Levenhuk Blaze 20-60x80 spotting scope.

Shaun Spence (2015-07-16 11:05): Positive
Hello! Is it reasonable to buy this lens for 150-millimeter Sky-Watcher (BK P1501EQ3-2) and use it with 3.6mm eyepiece? Thanks for your help. Levenhuk Customer Service:
This telescope together with 3.6mm eyepiece will give you 277x increase (which is almost the highest useful magnification of the instrument). Therefore, Barlow lens will be superfluous in your case.

Leon Harris (2015-04-17 10:03): Positive
Is it suitable for use with sky-watcher BK dob 10 1200mm? Does it allow getting 500x magnification without an eyepiece? If not, please advise a Barlow lens or an eyepiece, which will produce 500x on my telescope. Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens is suitable for your telescope. Any 2x Barlow lens installed before an eyepiece (it should always be installed before an eyepiece), increases the magnification two times. You can achieve 480x magnification by using any 5mm eyepiece and 2x Barlow lens.

Vince Powell (2015-04-14 01:56): Positive
Hello! Could you please explain, how exceeding highest practical power affects image quality? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Exceeding highest practical power leads to decrease in image quality, it can get so distorted, that you won't be able to see a thing.

Michael Jablonsky (2015-03-03 06:10): Positive
Hello. Is it suitable for use with Bresser National Geographic 76/700 EQ in combination with standard eyepieces (those are 25 mm, 12.5 mm and 9 mm eyepieces) and Levenhuk Plossl 6 mm eyepiece? What would the resulting magnification be? Thank you in advance. Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk 2x Barlow lens can be used with your telescope model. The magnification with mentioned eyepieces and Levenhuk 2x Barlow lens are: 25 mm - 56x; 12.5 mm - 112x. With 9 mm and 6.3 mm eyepieces the highest practical power of your telescope will be exceeded. This will affect image quality that's why we don't recommend using these eyepieces.

Dan Young (2015-03-01 07:35): Positive
hi. Please tell me, why it's not a good idea to use 10 mm eyepiece in combination with Levenhuk 2x Barlow lens on my Celestron Astromaster 90eq. I mean its highest practical power is 213x as far as I know….Thank you in advance! Levenhuk Customer Service:
The highest practical power of a telescope is its objective lens diameter multiplied by two. That gives us 180x for your telescope model.

Andrew Fuel (2015-02-13 03:09): Positive
Hello! Please help me choose the right combination for Levenhuk Strike 90 Plus: is it 3x Barlow + 10 mm eyepiece (180x) or 2x Barlow + 6.8 zoom eyepiece (about 176x)? Levenhuk Customer Service:
For use with the Levenhuk Strike 90 PLUS telescope we recommend the following combination of accessories: 10 mm eyepiece + 3x Barlow lens.

Kenneth Fisher (2015-01-21 09:16): Positive
Hello! My telescope model is Celestron astromaster 130 eq. I'm not satisfied with the image quality when using standard 10 and 20 mm eyepieces. So I'd like to order 2x Barlow lens, and a few not expensive eyepieces but with acceptable quality. What would you suggest? Levenhuk Customer Service:
For use with your telescope we would recommend the following accessories: Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-barlow-lens2x/; Levenhuk Ra Plossl 17 mm 1.25" Eyepiece - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-ra-plossl-17mm-1-25-eyepiece/; Levenhuk Plossl 6.3 mm Eyepiece - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-plossl-6-3mm-eyepiece/.

Benjamin (2014-12-30 08:10): Positive
can I use Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens as a connector between Skywatcher BK1025AZ3 and canon 1100d camera using Bresser T-ring (that is designed for Canon EOS M42) Levenhuk Customer Service:
Unfortunately not. It is not suitable for this purpose. We recommend you consider Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-2x-barlow-lens-with-camera-adapter/.
