Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter is a high-quality Barlow lens with a T-thread on the barrel. This allows you to easily attach and remove the lens during your observations, as well as use it for astrophotography.
This truly is a very practical accessory. It allows you to attach a digital SLR camera to your telescope, where it acts as a T-thread adapter. This setup will yield high-quality views of observed objects at higher magnifications, since this Barlow lens extends the focal length of the telescope twofold. If you require a lower magnification, you can still use this accessory as an adapter by simply removing lenses from the barrel. You can even use a filter of your choice. Simply attach the required filter to the Barlow lens and you're good to go! This simple accessory will prove indispensable as you document your travels through the universe.
Naturally, you can still use it for visual observations. It will double the focal length of your telescope, bringing distant celestial objects even closer. The high-quality optical system of this Barlow lens is fully multi-coated for even sharper and brighter views with no chromatic aberration. This accessory may be used with any eyepiece of 1.25" barrel diameter.

Do you sell such adapters separately? I need to attach this lens https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/accessories/levenhuk-a3x-barlow-lens/ to my Canon EOS 1100D. With M-42 T-ring. Levenhuk Customer Service:
Unfortunately, separate adapters are not available. You can purchase this Barlow lens with pre-installed adapter.
Hello! Can I use this lens with Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ70 or Nikon D3300 Body? is it suitable for the Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK telescope? Levenhuk Customer Service:
To connect the lens to these cameras you will also need a M-42 T-ring. Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK allows you to install M42 T-ring without using this Barlow lens. It already has a suitable thread for M42 T-ring.
Can I use this lens with my Strike 80 NG? I have Nikon D5300, what else do I need to connect it to the scope? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter is suitable for use with the Levenhuk Strike 80 NG telescope. You will also need a T-ring for Nikon cameras.
Which T-ring should I use with it, M42 or M48? Levenhuk Customer Service:
M42 would be the right choice.
Hi! Is this lens suitable for connecting Nikon d5200 to this telescope - https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/telescopes/levenhuk-skyline-90x900-eq/ ? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter is suitable for your purpose, but you will also need a T-ring for Nikon cameras.
Hello, I am thinking of installing it on this scope https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/spotting-scopes/levenhuk-blaze-30-90x90/, will it work? Thanks Levenhuk Customer Service:
Unfortunately, you can't install Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter on Levenhuk Blaze 30-90x90 Spotting Scope as the scope has non-standard barrel diameter.
Will this adapter connect my Canon EOS to the Strike 90 plus telescope? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Dear Mariana, thank you for your interest in Levenhuk products. Yes, this is the universal adapter which can be used with any SLR camera. You would still need to buy a T-ring for your camera though. The T-thread on the top of the Camera Adapter screws into a T-Ring that has to be attached to the mounting flange of your camera.
Can I use this adaptor for a Nikon D90? I have a 90mm telescope. Levenhuk Customer Service:
Hi Gerson, Thanks for the query. Yes, this is the universal adapter which can be used with any SLR camera including Nikon D90. You would still need to buy a T-ring for your camera though. The T-thread on the top of the Camera Adapter screws into a T-Ring that has to be attached to the mounting flange of your camera.
Hello! Thanks for your advice on the SkyMatic telescope! If I understood it correctly, with this lens I can make "prime focus" photos (without the lens), as well as take pictures with the Barlow lens (it will give me 2x magnification) and also I can use it for visual observations (with an eyepiece inserted in the Barlow lens)? Levenhuk Customer Service:
You can shoot with Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter and magnification will be increased 2 times. You can also use it for visual observations.
So focal length is two times longer with this lens…but angle of view will be very small, right? I mean it's a good thing for imaging single objects (as far as I understand). But is there some similar accessory with wider field of view? Like for imaging large star clusters? I wanna shoot a constellation... Levenhuk Customer Service:
Yes, Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter extends the focal length of your telescope twofold. Unfortunately, such wide field accessories are unavailable in our store.
Hey. Two questions: 1. What's the difference between "fully multi-coated" and "multi-coated" optics? 2. There is two values for 'optical design' - 'achromatic (2 elements)' and just '2 elements'. Is there any difference? Levenhuk Customer Service:
In terms of image quality it goes like this: fully coated optics < multi-coated optics < fully multi-coated optics. Achromatic lens is a lens that is composed of two lenses made of different types of glass (it helps reducing chromatic aberrations), so yes, basically there is no significant difference, but only if we talk about Barlow lenses.
bonsoir! I wonder if there're optical filters for this lens ( I mean moon filter, solar filter) thank you Levenhuk Customer Service:
Filters are supposed to be chosen according to telescope specifications. Please specify the model of your telescope.
What cameras is it for? Can I use it with Canon 650d for instance? Levenhuk Customer Service:
Levenhuk 2x Barlow Lens with Camera Adapter is suitable for all SLR cameras. The only thing you need is a T-adapter for your particular camera model. more
